Presented by the Fetzer Institute in partnership with the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo, the Kalamazoo Public Library and the Portage District Library. A day-long celebration of poetry at the Civic Auditorium, Wellspring Theatre at the Epic Center and the VanDeusen Room at the Kalamazoo Public Library. Choose from workshops, panel discussions, and youth activities, featuring poetry out loud, in visual art, music and dance. Special guests include Naomi Shihab Nye, Kurtis Lamkin, Mark Doty, and poets and performance artists who live in our area. |
