It's a hot summer night and you stop at a street corner for sorbet. Or swing by a nationally known microbrewery that's just around the corner.
It's a Saturday morning and you stop in a coffee shop that was once a gas station. Grab a large latte and head off to wander antique shops across the street. Sometime that evening you slip into another microbrewery for poetry or live music.
Here in the East End District, you'll find many of the business owners consider themselves just different enough to warrant their own place in Central City.
Some have taken boarded up buildings that once supported railroad business and turned them into night spots, offices, and antique shops.
Young and old, different cultures and ethnic backgrounds, the entrepreneurs in East End all have one thing in common. They enjoy the fact there's nothing quite like them anywhere else in Central City.
